About the event
Brading Heritage Centre is excited to host Mini Signaler Day, a special event where children can step into the shoes of a railway signaler! This interactive experience allows young visitors to operate the historic signal box, learning how to control signals, points, and levers just like real signalers did.
Alongside the signal box experience, children and families can enjoy:
Guided tours of the heritage centre and its exhibits
Displays that tell the story of Brading’s railway and local history
Hands-on activities and games designed to educate and entertain
Opportunities to meet our friendly volunteers and ask questions about railway life
