This historic Signal Box is a rare, Grade II listed Victorian structure. Opened in 1882, it houses an original 30-lever Stevens & Sons frame. While it operated until 1988, it is now preserved as a heritage centre.
Join our knowledgeable guides for an interactive tour that will transport you back to the heyday of steam railways. Not only will you learn about the intricacies of our historic signalling system, but you'll also have the chance to operate the levers yourself! This is a truly immersive experience that will leave you with a new appreciation for the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the past.
